Breeze Kestrel was founded with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to quality horticultural education, regardless of where they live or their prior experience.
How We Began
In 2018, our founding team—a group of landscape architects, horticulturists, and educators—noticed a troubling gap in the market. Traditional gardening courses required either expensive in-person attendance or offered superficial online content that barely scratched the surface of proper technique.
We set out to bridge that divide. Drawing on combined experience spanning botanical gardens, private estate management, and university-level teaching, we developed a curriculum that respects the intelligence of adult learners while making complex concepts genuinely accessible.
A Different Approach to Learning
Most gardening education treats students as passive recipients of information. We take a different view. Our courses are built around active learning—you do not merely watch tutorials, you complete real projects with real feedback. Every assignment is reviewed by an instructor who has spent years in professional practice.
